Pacific changing EAP providers starting Jan. 1, 2018

Dec 5, 2017

Pacific is changing its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) vendor from ComPsych to Liberty Mutual effective Jan. 1, 2018.

This has been and will continue to be a free and confidential service to all benefit-eligible employees.

The change in vendors does not change the benefits of the EAP. The EAP program provides:

  • Face-to-Face and telephonic sessions for various counseling services including marital, personal, stress, anger, grieving, alcohol and/or drug abuse.
  • Financial services regarding debt, credit, financial review, legal assistance at a reduced fee schedule as well as assistance with child care, elder care, adoption and education.

If you or a family member are currently using the EAP with ComPsych, you will be able to finish up to a 3rd counseling session. It is recommended that you complete the counseling as early as possible in 2018.

If you are using EAP services through ComPsych for legal, financial or other services, ComPsych will work with individuals until their case is closed out.

This is just one of the many resource available to you through your benefits package at Pacific. If you need additional information about your benefit package you may send questions to employee_benefits@pacific.edu.
