Welcome to the University of the Pacific, Office of Research and Graduate Studies (RGS). RGS manages Graduate Studies and Research & Scholarships/Sponsored Programs. Research and Graduate Studies is located on the beautiful Stockton campus in Knoles Hall, close to the landmark Burns Tower on Pacific Avenue.

The Graduate Studies office is responsible for the administration of graduate degree programs leading to master's (M.M., M.Ed., M.A., MBA and M.S.), educational specialist in school psychology (Ed.S.), and doctoral (D.P.T., Ed.D. and Ph.D.) degrees in over 15 departments in 7 schools and colleges.

It is our goal to provide helpful, courteous service and up-to-date information to prospective and current graduate students, advisors, faculty, and the University community.

At the University of the Pacific, research and scholarship strengthen the student-centered environment and invigorate intellectual inquiry across the campus. The Office of Sponsored Programs(OSP) administers grants and contracts, internal awards, and the Institutional Review Board. OSP assists Pacific faculty and staff with all aspects of funding research, proposal submissions and awards, and research compliance.  Our faculty collaborates with undergraduate and graduate students on interdisciplinary research and scholarship that focuses on real world problems.
